    Is Dinner Magic Real?

Have you ever wanted to snap your fingers, blink your eyes, or twitch your nose and have a dinner that everyone loves ready to eat in minutes like magic? While magic is likely not in the cards (but if you figure it out, please let us know), you can get close with the best frozen meatballs for spaghetti. Frozen meatballs are such an incredible timesaver; you’ll feel like you’ve mastered the miraculous when everyone at your house is enthusiastically eating dinner in no time at all.

Meatballs are a versatile dinner solution. They are delicious on their own, or when dipped; BBQ, sweet and sour, and blue cheese are just a few of our favorites. But perhaps the most classic combination is spaghetti and meatballs. Here’s our favorite way to pull together this quick and easy weeknight dish:

    Ingredients

    • spaghetti, uncooked
    • 1 tablespoon butter
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced fine
    • 1 package frozen meatballs
    • 1 jar of your favorite tomato-based pasta sauce
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

    Instructions

    1. Cook the spaghetti noodles according to package directions and your desired doneness. We like al dente.
    2. Drain and rinse the noodles and place them back in the pot. Stir in the butter and let it melt, and coat the pasta.
    3. While the noodles as cooking, arrange the meatballs in a microwave-safe dish and thaw in the microwave on high for about 2 minutes.
    4. Heat olive oil in a large broiler-safe skillet – big enough to hold the cooked pasta. Saute the garlic and meatballs on medium heat until fragrant.
    5. Stir in the pasta sauce and heat through. (Another option is to add frozen meatballs to the sauce and allow the sauce and meatballs to simmer on the stove until the meatballs are thawed. This makes a flavorful sauce but takes more time than thawing in the microwave.)
    6. Stir the cooked noodles into the sauce and toss to coat.
    7. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
    8. Place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and melted.

There you have it! Dinner in no time at all. Serve with a warm loaf of sourdough bread and a side salad.

    Dinner Solutions

Until someone discovers a magic wand or an enchanted charm that produces weeknight family dinners with the flick of the wrist and a few rhyming words, there’s frozen meatballs. With a bag or two of these wonders in your freezer, you never have to worry about what’s for dinner. Try some today!
