Firstly, you will need to check if you are a suitable candidate. The eye evaluation cost in Singapore ranges anywhere in between $9 to $300. There are some clinics which even offset the evaluation cost if you were to choose to go ahead for the surgery with them.
How much will LASIK eye surgery in Singapore cost me?

You may be surprised that the price of laser eye surgery is becoming increasingly affordable over the years. Expect to spend anywhere in between $3,000 – $6,000, depending on the type of procedure and the clinic you choose:

Be sure to check with your clinic exactly what you are paying for. Will the surgery cost include GST, any medications and follow-up consultations with your eye surgeon? If the answer is a ‘no’, go ahead and ask how much is the additional cost that you will have to fork out.
Are there any hidden costs that I should know?
If your degree is high and/or your cornea is thin, you may need to undergo a supplementary treatment called cross-linking. Performed together with your laser eye surgery, this will strengthen your cornea in the process. Most patients would not require this. This additional treatment will set you back an additional $1,200 – $3,000 for both eyes. You should check with your eye surgeon during the eye evaluation if this is necessary in your case.
What about the cost of enhancement surgeries?
There is a possibility that your eyesight may deteriorate if you keep over-straining your eyes. In such case, you may need to undergo a second laser eye surgery aka enhancement surgery. There are some clinics which offer “warranty” for the surgery, meaning that you will not have to pay for the enhancement surgery within a certain number of years. There are some clinics that offer a discounted rate for their surgery – usually ranging in between $300 to $1,200.
Can I make the payment using instalment plans?
After all, laser eye surgery ranges in the price of thousand dollars. Even if you do not want to make a bulk payment, you may be able to split the payment into bite-sized, more affordable chunks. Most clinics offer 6 or 12 months 0% interest instalment plans if you make payments using your credit card.
