Consistent Team in the IPL Playoffs

The 14th edition of IPL 2021 will be played in India, in which all eight teams will battle against each other to win the IPL title. The respective franchises have geared up with brilliant team players in the IPL auction. Every team gets points and IPL team rankings based on the overall performance in their matches. The winning team of each match gets awarded two points each and the one with no results gets one point.

In case of a tie between teams the match goes into a ‘Super Over’. The top four teams in the IPL ranking table will qualify for the knock-outs. To get through the playoffs stage every team has to give their best and pave their way to win the title. The top two teams on the points table battle in the ‘Play-off’ and the winner gets qualified for the Final.

Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals (DC) have many young talents on their team alongside a few experienced players. Ricky Ponting is the coach of DC and, he has done a great job in managing the cricketers based on their strengths. The team consist of phenomenal pacers like Rabada, Nortje, Woakes, Ishant and Umesh. IPL spinners like Ashwin, Axar and Mishra are great asset to the DC team. With such brilliant cricketers on board, Delhi Capitals can aim to win the maiden title this year.

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians is one of the most successful teams in league history. In the last season of IPL, the MI team was successful in winning the IPL title to their name. Their batting game is strong with skippers like Rohit Sharma and wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock at the top of the order, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav in Middle-order along with the Pandya brothers and Kireon Pollard to finish things up. With such strong players on the team, MI fans would be delighted to see the team win the VIVO IPL 2021 trophy.

Chennai Super Kings

The team of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have a huge fan following in the Indian Premier League. However, in the last season of IPL, the team’s performance was not up to the mark. Players like Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran are some of the best all-rounder’s the team has in-store. The franchise roped in two more all-rounders- Krishnappa Gowtham and Moeen Ali during the IPL auctions. The CSK team is expected to qualify for the playoffs for IPL this year.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has proven to be one of the most consistent teams in the Indian Premier League history. SRH won their maiden trophy in 2016 under the leadership of David Warner. The orange army gave good performances during the last few years, the owners have managed to retain most of their players in the team for VIVO IPL 2021. SRH’s love for defending totals and choking their opposition sets them apart from the rest of the teams. This season SRH fans would have high hopes to see the IPL trophy come to Hyderabad.
