How to make strawberry ice cream at home

All of us love ice cream. On a hot summer day, a bowl of tasty, cooling ice cream is all we need. But most of us do not know how to make ice cream. It is quite simple actually and you can make your favorite ice cream at home.

Strawberry ice cream recipe

Strawberry ice cream is one of the most loved ice cream flavours. The recipe of this ice cream is given below;

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 300 grams of Fresh Cream
  • 200 grams of Fresh Strawberries

Steps

  1. First, you have to make a smooth puree of the strawberries using a mixer grinder.
  2. Keep the puree aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix fresh cream, Nestlé MILKMAID, and the strawberry puree.
  4. Whisk the mixture till it gets thicker.
  5. Now, put it in a container and set it in the freezer.
  6. When it is half set, remove it from the freezer and whisk it again to make a smoother paste.
  7. This will make the ice cream softer and fluffier.
  8. When you get the exact creamy texture, put in the freezer again for setting.
  9. When it is completely set, serve it.

Apart from strawberry ice cream, recipes of mango and Chikoo ice creams are easy to make at home with a few ingredients –

Mango Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 tin of Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 300 ml of Fresh Cream
  • 3 RipeMangoes, pureed

Steps:

  1. Cut the mango into small pieces and grind them. The mango puree will be ready. Keep it aside.
  2. Now in another bowl, mix Nestlé MILKMAID, the mango puree, and fresh cream together.
  3. Blend it well until it gets thicker.
  4. Put the mixture in an air-tight container and set it in the freezer.
  5. When it is half set, take it out and whisk it again. This will improve its consistency.
  6. Repeat the process until you get the desired smoothness and fluffiness.
  7. After you are satisfied with its smoothness, put it in the freezer for the last time and let it set completely and serve it chilled.

Chikoo Ice cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 tin of Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 300 ml of Fresh Cream
  • 250 grams of Chikoos

Steps:

  1. First, separate the seeds from Chikoos and mix it well using an electric blender. Keep the Chikoo puree aside.
  2. Now, in a separate bowl blend fresh cream, Nestlé MILKMAID, and Chikoo puree. Whisk it well to make a thick paste.
  3. Put it in the freezer and let it set half.
  4. Now remove it and whisk it again. This makes the mixture creamier.
  5. You can repeat the process two or three times until you get the desired smoothness.
  6. Then, set it completely and serve it chilled.
