To make cement differential minerals are needed to be mined to make the complete cement products. The main thing which makes up the cement is clay, gypsum, and limestone. Limestone is widespread and abundant in many other places. The production of domestic cement is increasing from 66.4 million tons in 2010 to 80.5 million tons in 2014. Altogether the cost of cement was 8.9 billion with which it was used to make 48 billion capacity of concrete.

High amount of products can be got from cement plant. There are many types in the cement which are used to make concrete. The most famous among all is Portland cement. Production of cement is a wide process which involves in the mining and mixing of many components together to make the concrete stronger enough to hold. The grinding of raw materials will bring out the product of cement. Those products are clay, limestone, powder which is then heated all together at a temperature as high as 1450 degree in a kiln.

Bonding:

After that, the chemical bonding between the clay and limestone will breakdown and they will now newly form some compounds. This is now said to be as clinker which is in the shape of round nodules and size range from 1mm to 25mm. Now, this clinker has grinned well in the mill and after that process is done the powdery substances are mixed with the gypsum to bring out the product of cement. Then this concrete is used in the construction of buildings.

Quality:

The cement products will have high quality and with the help of raw material composition, the quality of the cement can be brought.  For example, if limestone is added in a large amount they lose its strength. In each step, while preparing a cement laboratory test will be carried out to check the reliability and the strength of the cement.

Testing:

Laboratory X-ray Fluorescence is mainly used by the quality control lab to know the oxide content in the manufacturing of cement. In places of cement plant they are mandatory to check the quality of the product at each stage.

At the ending stage of making cement, the cement clinker is got from clinker store and they are ground finely combined with the gypsum and also with some additive compounds such as hydraulic or pozzolanic products. With this, the quality and fineness the product of the cement can be determined. There are different types of cement so they are packaged separately and stored in individual silos and then taken whenever needed to load a system. In these early times, they have an increase in their product range this can be expected to get continued in ecological and economic reasons. The alternative of clinker through a secondary formation that includes the waste material from industries or that may occur naturally.
