10 HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES & GAMES FOR KIDS

1. PLAYDOUGH ART

• Kids love to do this activity. For this activity, you have to knead the dough and teach your kid to cut the dough into some predetermined shapes using a cutter or shaping molds.
• To make your kids more engaged, ask them to knead the dough for this game. Prepare them some cookies with the shaped dough made by your kids.

2. DIY TABLETOP ICE HOCKEY RINK

• When you are not able to get out playing ice hockey, create a miniature in your home to play.
• For making this get an aluminum foil tray or some other tray and make them as ground. Mark the boundaries inside it. Place a mini ball in the center and use a small spoon as a bat. Start the game and get fun.

• Create a bunny using the available materials and hit them with a plastic ball. Kids can play this game with their friends.

8. PAPER LEAF STACKING GAME

• This is an endless game as it does not have any rules and methods. Kids can play this game as they wish.
• Create smiling leaves using paper or you can get them ready to print the model. Connect all the leaves and create any shape you wanted. You can use some small divided straws to connect the leaves.

9. DIY PAPER CUP FISHING GAME

• You can use waste bottle lids to make a spin. Paste the lids with a small stick to make the arrows.
• Then use a paper and draw different diametric circles one on the other, and color theme to make difference. Fix points for each colored circle.
• Start playing the game by placing it on the table. Ask your kid to throw the spin on the circle. This will helps increasing concentration power in kids.
